PushBox began in 2012 doing same-day runs for market traders in Bermondsey. Our first US customer asked if we could "get a box to New York by Friday" — we could, and we've been running the London–New York lane ever since.
Today we're a team of 60 across two offices: our head office and warehouse in London, and our US operation on Madison Avenue. We're still independent, still family-run, and still the kind of company where the directors know the drivers by name.
Founded as a same-day courier for south London businesses. First office: a rented arch by the railway.
Regular air freight to JFK becomes a dedicated service. The Madison Avenue office opens with four staff.
We move into 14,000 sq ft of racked storage in London and launch pick & pack fulfilment for online sellers.
